1. About Refener
Welcome to Refener (“Refener”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Refener operates a platform that connects artists, hosts, and audiences to create and attend curated live experiences and events (the “Platform”). In some cases, events may be organized directly by Refener or by independent event organizers using the Platform.
Through the Platform, users may discover events, request or purchase tickets, and participate in live cultural experiences.
2. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”), together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies referenced here, govern your use of the Platform.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
If you use the Platform on behalf of another person or entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
You may browse the Platform without an account, but certain features (such as booking or purchasing tickets) may require registration.
To create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
The Platform is intended for users aged 18 and above unless otherwise stated for specific events. If we discover underage use without consent, we may remove the account.
You may not transfer, sell, or share your account.
4. Events & Ticketing
The Platform may list live events (“Events”) created by Refener or third-party organizers.
When you request or purchase a ticket, a contract is formed once we confirm your booking via email.
By placing an order, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method.
Prices may be shown in local currency depending on the event location. You are responsible for any bank fees or exchange rate differences.
5. Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Event times, locations, and program details may change due to circumstances beyond our control.
Minor changes do not automatically qualify for refunds.
If an Event is cancelled, you are generally entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
If an Event is rescheduled, your ticket may remain valid for the new date. Refund eligibility will depend on the specific event conditions communicated at the time.
Refunds are not guaranteed for no-shows or change of mind unless stated otherwise.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform
- Attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the system
- Upload harmful software or malicious content
- Use the Platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Provide false or misleading information
We may suspend or terminate access if these rules are violated.
7. Event Attendance Rules
When attending Events, you agree to follow all reasonable rules set by organizers.
Organizers may refuse entry or remove attendees who:
- Pose a safety or security risk
- Are disruptive, abusive, or intoxicated
- Do not provide valid tickets or identification when requested
- Fail to follow venue rules
You may be denied entry without refund if you breach these rules.
You are responsible for your personal belongings at Events.
8. Media, Photography & Recordings
Events may be recorded, photographed, or livestreamed.
By attending, you consent to being recorded and grant permission for your image, voice, or likeness to be used for promotional or commercial purposes by Refener or event organizers, unless otherwise restricted by law or explicitly requested at the event.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform (including branding, design, text, images, and software) belongs to Refener or its licensors.
You may use the Platform only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit Platform content without permission.
10. Platform Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning smoothly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
The Platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues.
We are not responsible for external issues such as internet outages or third-party failures.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for indirect or incidental damages
- We do not guarantee that events will meet your expectations
- We are not liable for issues caused by third-party organizers
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant ticket or €100 (whichever is higher), except where prohibited by law.
We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage occurring at events unless caused by our negligence.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.
You may also close your account at any time by contacting us.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that existed before termination.
13. Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links or integrations with third-party services.
We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or actions. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
14. Changes to the Platform
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time.
We are not obligated to maintain any specific feature or service permanently.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece (or the jurisdiction of the Refener operating entity, once defined).
Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
